Pikalevo Cement increases sales in first five months of 2015

Pikalevo Cement, part of the Eurocement Group, has shipped 11 700 t of bagged cement in the first 5 months of 2015. This is an increase of 23% y/y.
Many of Eurocement’s companies are reporting an increase in sales for the beginning of the year, with Maltovsky Portland reporting a record shipment day in May and Oskolcement reporting a record month for bagged cement sales.
Pikalevo Cement sells CEM II/A-SH 32.5 B cement in 50 kg paper bags, which are dispatched by rail and truck. The packaging is biodegradable.
On 1 April 2015 Eurocement began using new packaging developed by the group to meet stringent quality and environmental standards as well as customer demands.
