Preparations on track for POWTECH 2014
Preparations are on track for POWTECH 2014, which will be held in the German city of Nuremberg on 30 September – 2 October. Approximately 700 exhibitors from more than 25 countries will take part in the event, demonstrating process technology for powders, bulk solids and granules, from conveying equipment to bagging and packing to silos. The trade fair also focuses on automation, grinding, screening, filters, dosing, weighing and particle analysis, among others.
Other features of the 2014 event include technical presentations, live explosion demonstrations, the Innovation Award, as well as TechnoPharm, which runs alongside POWTECH to showcase sterile production processes for pharmaceuticals, food and cosmetics.
Around 16 800 visitors attended POWTECH and TechnoPharm 2013, which took place in April last year. At POWTECH alone, 724 exhibitors from the powder and bulk solids processing industry were present.
