The World Cement Association has announced the launch of its Climate Partnership programme, under which it will collaborate with organisations such as NGOs, thinktanks and sustainability-focussed events providers, as part of its continuing Climate and Environment commitment.
The company has helped give Grays Town Park in Grays, Thurrock, a new lease of life with a grant from the Tarmac Landfill Communities Fund.
The company has appointed Maarten van Roon as Chief Commercial Officer.
