KHD’s subsidiary wins contracts in Russia
KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG’s subsidiary, ZAB Zementanlagenbau GmbH Dessau, has signed contracts totalling more than €90 million with Pervaja Cementnaja Kompanija (PZK). The contracts regard equipment and services for a new cement plant in Kaluga, Russia. It will comprise two 3000 tpd clinker lines. Pervaja Cementnaja Kompanija forms part of the same group as the major Russian construction firm SU-155.
The project announcement follows recent news that KHD won a contract from Turkey’s OYAK Group for a new 3500 tpd clinker line at Bolu Cimento’s Kazan plant. The new kiln line will be commissioned in spring 2015.
