World Cement,

At the end of 2015, a new sales office for UWT RUS Level Measurement, the new Russian branch of UWT, was founded in Moscow, Russia. This represents another important expansion the company’s international market presence. The positive growth in the corporate sector over the recent years has made Russia a promising location, with a good forecast for growth in business volume. The new branch, which has already commenced operations, is located in the heart of Moscow and is headed by Alexander Kabatyanskiy. The new branch enables UWT to react even more flexibly to customer requirements and ensure professional advice and support on site.

"In measuring technology segment in the Russian market we are seeing positive growth numbers. In order to consolidate this trend in the long term, the location extension plays a crucial role, "says Markus Schalk, Managing Partner UWT International Sales Management GmbH. "In addition, we have already in the Russian-speaking area a very large customer base that we will achieve targeted with our presence in Moscow, as we can offer our customers enhanced personal service and local training."
