New Chairman of the Turkish Cement Manufacturers’ Association announced
Mehmet Göçmen was elected as Chairman of the Turkish Cement Manufacturers’ Association (TCMB) at the TCMB 56th General Assembly Meeting. He succeeds Mustafa Güçlü, who served as Chairman since June 2011. Mr Göçmen is currently Sabanci Holding Cement Group President, after joining the company in 2003. His previous positions include General Manager at Akcansa A.S. and Executive Vice President of Human Resources.
New Board Members for the coming two years were also announced at the meeting. A full list of Board Members can be found here.
The TCMB represents 68 cement plants in the country. Of these, 49 are integrated plants and the remaining 19 are grinding plants.
