World Cement,
Sengileevsky cement plant offers consumers a new type of product shipment and transportation. At the end of June, the company accepted the first vessel for loading bulk cement.
Modern equipment at the Sengileevsky plant allows the shipment of more than 150 000 tpm of products, providing high-quality cement to the Ulyanovsk and Volga regions. The advantageous location of the plant allows for the shipment of bulk and calibrated cement both to the road and to water transport. Cement delivery via water routes allows for a reduction both in cost and time of production.
The company’s river port is equipped with two multifunctional loaders. The time of call at the port is strictly controlled, eliminating the occurrence of downtime and queues. Each ship is prepared and equipped for the transportation of cement, meaning the building material does not lose its useful qualities during transportation.
In June 2019, the first bulk cement barge was shipped from the plant. The loading was carried out using the equipment of the German company SNB. In 17 hours, 2000 t of cement arrived on the ship, and the next day the ship was ready for unloading in the city of Novocheboksarsk of the Republic of Chuvashia.
