Atlas Copco Compressors in the UK and Ireland has once again achieved Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier status. This is a prestigious accreditation for high quality energy efficient equipment and renewable technology suppliers. Atlas Copco was the first compressed air equipment manufacturer listed as an accredited supplier by the Carbon Trust.
As part of its successful application, Atlas Copco submitted four customer case studies (involving Di Spark, Northumbrian Water, Autofil Yarns and FCC Environment) that provided evidence of the company offering best practice in energy efficient design and installation of compressed air systems. The examples highlighted diversity in the type and use of innovative and energy efficient approaches to solving a problem.
Dirk Villé, General Manager of Atlas Copco Compressors in the UK and Ireland commented:
“We are delighted our dedication to sustainable productivity has been recognised by such a prestigious independent organisation. Environmental considerations are becoming increasingly important to our customers and this provides an assurance that they are buying from a supplier that operates to the highest standards.”
