World Cement,
Napier Turbochargers has been awarded Caterpillar’s Supplier Quality Excellence Process Certification.
Caterpillar’s SQEP programme is designed to emphasise supplier performance excellence. To earn SQEP, suppliers must provide superior performance in several categories, including: product quality, delivery, customer service, process control and continuous improvement.
This certification demonstrates Napier Turbochargers strong values and principles in conducting business and the company’s commitment to collaborate with Caterpillar’s objective to implement a culture for ‘zero-defects’ across its supply base.
Napier Turbochargers has a long-standing relationship with Caterpillar Motoren & Co GmbH, going back for many years and this SQEP certification has been achieved thanks to a dedicated team in both the USA and Germany at Caterpillar and in the UK at Napier.
Ewen Hamilton, Head of Sales and Marketing at Napier Turbochargers commented: “This achievement validates Napier Turbochargers understanding of Caterpillar's expectations of a world-class supplier. We have worked tirelessly to ensure our performance and embedded processes mirror the expectations and pre-requisites of being a recognised supplier to Caterpillar and we will strive to improve upon this foundation.”
