CEMEX Go wins renowned German award

The CEMEX Go digital platform has been granted the Supply Chain Management Award in Germany, it has been announced. The award recognises outstanding and groundbreaking supply chain management concepts and solutions that help in the improvement of competitiveness and which are game-changing for other companies.

The awards were presented for the thirteenth time by Strategy&, the strategy consulting team of PwC and German magazine LOGISTIK HEUTE. Parliamentary State Secretary, Steffen Bilger, presided over the awards at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure.

CEMEX Go offers a suite of services that is fully digital, enabling customers to get more done in less time through the simplification and streamlining of their transactions and interactions with CEMEX. The administrative burden for customers is reduced, giving them more time to focus on more strategic business matters. Using multiple devices, customers are able to interact with CEMEX at anytime and anywhere with the integrated platform.

CEMEX Go is a CEMEX R&D, Innovation and Business Development project that is part of the global R&D collaboration network, headed by CEMEX research centres and based in Switzerland.

“The submitted concepts prove that supply chain capabilities are critical to achieving value creation and business success,” said Harald Geimer, a partner at PwC.
