New logo for bauma ahead of 2016 trade fair

The world’s biggest trade show, bauma, has launched a new logo and subtitle ahead of the 2016 event. Taking place in Munich, Germany, on 11 – 17 April 2016, the show will be known as the ‘31st Edition of the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment’. The yellow ‘b’ logo has also been updated to represent the four key sectors of the fair: All Around Construction Sites; Mining, Extraction and Processing of Raw Materials; Production of Building Materials; Component and Service Suppliers. In addition, the new tagline “The heartbeart of our industry” has been introduced to represent the fact that bauma is a key platform for product development, innovation and new product launches.

The bauma 2013 event covered 575 000 m3, making it the biggest trade show in the world with regards to exhibition area. More than 3420 exhibitors from 57 countries participated in the show and some 535 065 visitors from over 200 countries were in attendance.

Once again, bauma 2016 will take place in Messe München, Munich. Exhibitor applications are now being accepted and must be received by 6 March 2015.
