World Cement,
Eurocement’s Podgorensky plant has achieved a new milestone: producing its 1 millionth t of cement. The plant, which is located in Russia’s Voronezh region, uses the dry production method and began operations in December 2012.
The Podgorensky plant is one of the most environmentally friendly, energy efficient and technologically advanced in Russia, and carries out continuous quality control from the production stage to shipment of the finished product. The plant is located 200 km south of Voronezh, which allows for the straightforward transport of cement by rail and road, not only to the Voronezh region, but also to other regions of Russia, as well as foreign countries.
Cement types CEM I 42.5N and CEM II / AS-W 42.5N tared are produced at the plant and shipped in bags of 25 kg and 50 kg. CEM I 42.5N is also shipped in 1000 kg containers.
