Guttridge Ltd turns 50
Guttridge Ltd, a UK manufacturer of conveying equipment for bulk materials, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The company has marked the occasion by opening up its Spalding factory to the local community. Among the 100 plus visitors were suppliers, customers, employees, school pupils, local councillors and MPS
“The day was a thoroughly enjoyable success and I’m grateful to everyone who made it happen,” said Peter Guttridge. “Events like this rightly prompt thoughts of the people whose ingenuity, drive and ongoing support have, over the last 50 years, made Guttridge what it is today, but equally importantly they encourage us to look to the future. Inspiring the next generation to think about manufacturing and engineering as a rewarding career is crucial, so I was particularly delighted to welcome in our local secondary school."
