World Cement,

Italy’s Competition & Market Authority (AGCM, Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato) has awarded Italcementi its legality rating with three stars, the top class in the rating.

The legality rating is an evaluation of the legal compliance and degree of attention to correct business management of the companies that apply for an authoritative independent assessment of their operations. The AGCM rating is confirmation and recognition of Italcementi’s commitment to operating consistently with the highest ethical/social and governance standards.

In order to ensure effective corporate governance and compliance with its publicly declared ethical principles and commitments, Italcementi has introduced a series of specific legal compliance programmes, at both Group and individual country levels, with regard to anti-trust, anti-corruption and criminal liability issues in general. Furthermore, with its corporate code, Italcementi is committed to complying with the Legality Protocol drawn up by Italy’s Ministry of the Interior and the Confindustria employers’ confederation.
