Grozdanovic appointed new Managing Director of BTC Europe GmbH

As of 1 March 2016 Dr Marko Grozdanovic is the new managing director and Vice President of BTC Europe GmbH, the European Distribution business and fully owned BASF subsidiary.
Marko Grozdanovic holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and has worked at BASF since 2006. He started his career as an internal management consultant in Ludwigshafen. In 2009 he transferred to BASF Corporation in Wyandotte, USA spearheading a major optimisation project in the styrenics business. In 2011, Marko Grozdanovic was appointed Business Manager Performance Additives in the Dispersions & Pigments division of BASF. Before joining BTC, he held the position of Business Director, managing BASF’s North American business for coatings raw materials in the transportation, general industrial and furniture business as well as the pigments for plastics industry.
Marko Grozdanovic studied in Germany and the UK, and holds a degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D. from the University of Mannheim.
Dr Marko Grozdanovic succeeds Dr Katja Scharpwinkel, who after four years at BTC is now Head of Automotive Refinish Coatings Solutions Europe at BASF’s Coatings division, headquartered in Münster.
