Hedgehog visits Cemex headquarters

World Cement,
An unusual visitor called Grace came to visit Cemex's head office recently.
The tiny visitor was a baby hedgehog that is being cared for by the Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue charity, an animal rescue centre in Surrey.
Cemex employees have been supporting the charity that is passionate about the plight of the hedgehog and their dwindling numbers. In the 1950s there were 36.5 million in the UK, now it is about 1 million and it is predicted that by 2025 they will be extinct.
The charity is launching a campaign called Saving Grace to encourage us all to make our gardens more hedgehog friendly - leave holes under fences to allow them to get in and out while searching for food and plant more insect friendly plants, vegetables and flowers in our gardens.
