World Cement,
On 27 September, three Spenner Zement sites were awarded for their efforts towards work safety.
The awards are given annually by the VDZ as part of its yearly meeting.
The company’s cement plant in Berlin and its mill in Duisburg were each honoured to receive first place for safety work on mills. Spenner’s Erwitte location was awarded second place in the category of Klinkerwerke.
The awards are a recognition of the efforts being made surrounding the important issue of health and safety at work, as well as being an incentive to continually improve in the future.
