Magnezit Group recognised for environmental awareness

Magnezit Group won an award at the Second All-Russia Industrial Ecological Forum, ‘RosPromEco2014’, for being the best environmentally aware enterprise in the region. The forum placed special emphasis on the application of alternative technologies in all areas of the economy. Delegates discussed ecological modernization of enterprises and the preservation of natural resources and visited the exhibition with the theme ‘Resource-saving aimed at securing sustainable development’.
The general director of Magnezit Group said: “We are glad that activity of the Group in the field of environmental protection attracted attention of the organisers of the forum. In 2014 we implemented a number of big investment projects, which correspond to the most advanced international standards including those which refer to the efficient use of energy and environmental safety.” He went on to speak about new installations, modernisation projects and environmental safety.
