Sinoma Tianjin has signed an EPC contract with Vakhdat Cement Company for a 1000 tpd cement production line in Tajikistan. The contract was signed on 16 June by Mr Zeng Nianming, Marketing Director of Sinoma Tianjin, and Mr Rakhmoni Jamshed, representative of Vakhdat Cement Company.

Demand for cement is increasing in Tajikistan thanks to economic development and investment. This project is located in the west of the country and includes, from Sinoma, engineering design, equipment supply and installation, civil construction, technical service and commissioning from mining exploration, raw material crushing to the cement packing plant. It is expected to take 24 months to complete.

This is Sinoma Tianjin’s first project in Tajikistan and will boost the company’s presence in the Central Asian region.
