A TEC Greco wins Irish Cement contract

World Cement,

A TEC Greco Combustion Systems Europe GmbH has signed a contract with Irish Cement to supply a new burner for the third kiln line of the Platin plant.

The FLSmidth kiln has a production capacity of 4300 tpd and fires both petcoke and alternative fuels. The A TEC Greco Flexiflame® burner offers a high flame momentum to control the flame shape according to the required kiln and process parameters, considering the high solid alternative fuel substitution rate. The new burner will give the plant greater flexibility with future fuel scenarios and will help keep emissions within the required limits.
