World Cement,
Based in the Pakistani city of Lahore, LOESCHE has received an order for the delivery of a vertical roller mill. This mill will be part of the Flying Cement Company’s (FCCL) new 7000 tpd production line.
The raw material mill will grind 600 tph of cement raw material in the FCCL cement plant in Mangowal, in the heart of Punjab. The plant predominantly produces Ordinary Portland Cement.
Alongside the mill, FCCL has also ordered a Hurriclon system from ATEC, a member of the LOESCHE Group. This system will separate the finished material from the gas flow leaving the mill. Hurriclon systems reduce pressure losses by 30% or more, compared to conventional cyclone separators. This results in a lower energy demand, as product separation is considerably reduced by the compact construction of the Hurriclons.
LOESCHE mills have a high market presence in Pakistan, with 30 vertical roller mills already in successful operation in Pakistani cement plants.
