globalCOAL® welcomes new members from India
Eight new Indian companies have joined the globalCOAL® online coal trading community. This includes Unicem Trading Company LLC, a subsidiary of Emirati Union Cement Company, which trades dry bulk cargos, coal and clinker. Indermani Mineral India Pvt Ltd, which supplies coal products to the cement, power and steel industries in central and south India, has also signed up.
The other new members range from coal traders and suppliers, to power generation firms and steel producers. This includes: Vedanta Limited, Essar Power Gujarat Ltd, Jindal Steel and Power, Phoenix Commodities, Lotus Resources Pte Ltd, and Mohit Minerals Pvt Ltd.
“We are delighted to welcome these eight new globalCOAL members. India is increasingly reliant on imported coal, so it is very significant to see so many Indian companies join us. Their participation on screen will help to contribute ever more robust price points for the Indian sub-continent,” commented Ajay Baral, Market Manager for India at globalCOAL.
