TCDRI receives PAC for Malaysia Hume Line II

Chinese engineering company, Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute (TCDRI), has received the provisional acceptance certificate (PAC) for the Malaysia Hume Line II project from the plant’s owner, Malaysia Hume Cement.
According to a recent TCDRI statement, the PAC was received at the end of 2016.
The original EPC contract was signed back in October 2014 and included the design, equipment supply, installation, civil construction, and technical services for a 5000 tpd cement production line.
All equipment was designed and manufactured in Chine by Sinoma-TEC. Equipment supply included the complete production line from raw material handling to finished cement packaging and dispatch.
Performance assessment on the new line took place in October 2016, three months ahead of the contracted timescale. Government completion acceptance was received on 8 December with the PAC issued on 19 December 2016.
TCDRI built Malaysia Hume Cement’s first 5000 tpd line in 2010.
