Loesche to deliver five vertical roller mills to China
Loesche has won a contract to supply five vertical roller mills to Shanxi Biological Cement Co., Ltd in China. Loesche will supply two mills for raw material grinding and three for clinker grinding, as well as complete mill key part, housing and frames. The equipment is due to be delivered this year, with commissioning planned for mid-2013.
Shanxi Biological Cement Co., Ltd is the daughter company of Shanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. The two firms have merged two local cement companies with 800 000 tpa clinker capacity and a 100 000 tpa building materials company. They are also constructing two 4500 tpd clinker lines in FuPing and a 1.8 million tpa ground granulated blast furnace slag production line in Gaoling. In addition, plans are underway for a 1 million tpa clinker grinding plant in HuangLing. Once these projects have been completed, Shanxi Biological Cement Co., Ltd will have a production capacity of 10 million tpa.
