World Cement,
JSW Group is set to combine the supply and distribution of cement, steel and paints across India, under its JSW One initiative. Currently, a number of JSW Group’s cement and steel dealers sell these products separately, however the company hopes to overlap these sales, and reach a common set of customers hoping to purchase these products, all of which are essential to building a home.
In the easten region, these operations have commenced and will scale up within the next few years.
Parth Jindal, Managing Director of JSW Cement, said “Through JSW One, we leverage this unique opportunity to change and alter the way we market our products to our customers.”
Surjayan Mukherjee, Vice President Sales & Marketing, JSW Cement, added, “Currently JSW Group has 1 766 cement dealers and 950 steel dealers in the eastern region of India. Out of these, only 110 dealers currently sell both steel and cement. With JSW One initiative, we will be able to scale-up this overlap to deepen our combined presence in the east.”
