World Cement,
Pacific Lime and Cement Limited, formerly Mayur Resources Limited, has launched its Quicklime business in Western Australia, providing mining customers with a high-quality, cost-effective alternative supported by a complete supply chain to the mine gate.
Pacific Lime and Cement’s rebrand reflects its transition from a resource developer to an integrated supplier of building and industrial materials, underpinned by its flagship Central Cement and Lime Project in Papua New Guinea. Plans are in place to expand Quicklime supply into other Australian states and PNG, aligning with PLC’s commitment to nation-building and regional growth.
Delivering high quality quicklime across the region
Pacific Lime and Cement Limited (PLC) is positioned to lead the Australian and PNG markets with high-grade, high-performance quicklime for the mining, mineral processing, and infrastructure sectors. Offering superior reactivity, low impurities, and consistent sizing, PLC’s quicklime delivers economic benefits for customers, including lower processing costs, reduced downtime, and improved recovery rates in critical industrial processes. Initial shipments have commenced, with sales in Western Australia complementing early cash flow from raw limestone sales in PNG as PLC progresses its Central Lime Project.
PLC has partnered with Freight Lines Group to ensure end-to-end logistics reliability, launching its first regional hub in Esperance to service the Goldfields, with further hubs planned to support growth across Western Australia. Backed by a multi-jurisdictional supply strategy and the use of AI-driven demand forecasting, PLC is refining its market approach and expanding opportunities in the cement and lime sector, supported by its vertically integrated infrastructure in PNG and regional alliance partnerships.
Focused growth with continuity in Papua New Guinea
Originally established in 2011 to pursue development opportunities in Papua New Guinea, Pacific Lime and Cement Limited has evolved to focus on building materials, renewable energy, and nation-building initiatives. With early works underway at the Central Lime Project and a final investment decision approaching, Pacific Lime and Cement Limited remains committed to delivering projects that support domestic infrastructure and regional exports. While lime and cement are the core focus, complementary opportunities in renewables, battery minerals and carbon initiatives will also be considered where they contribute to long-term nation-building in PNG.
While the parent company has rebranded to Pacific Lime and Cement Limited, its subsidiary entities will continue to operate under the Mayur name. This approach ensures brand continuity and recognition for stakeholders across PNG, maintaining the strong partnerships and trusted track record established under the Mayur brand.
