SCG Cement and Building Materials opens contact centre
Siam Cement Group’s (SCG) Cement and Building Materials business has opened the SCG Contact Centre, Thailand’s first homebuilding information and consultation service centre. The new facility was attended by Nithi Pattarachoke, Vice President – Domestic Market at SCG Cement and Building Materials, and Chatchawan Sethaputra, Managing Director – Customer Experience Management at SCG Cement and Building Materials.
Meanwhile, SCG has also announced that more than THB2.1 billion will be invested in innovating SCG Chemical’s high value (HVA) products and services in 2015. The company plans to introduce at least 14 new products to the market and aims for its HVA products and services to account for 29% of the year’s revenue.
In FY2014, SCG’s Cement and Building Materials businesses achieved a 6% y/y growth in sales revenue, while SCG Chemicals reported an 18% y/y increase in sales revenue and a 10% y/y rise in profit.
