World Cement,

Construction of a tourist area in Bali has increased the sales of Semen Gresik by 11%.

In October 2015, the sales of Semen Gresik in the island of Bali reached 415 000 t, an increase of 11% compared to the same period last year that amounted to 373 000 t. This amount is equivalent to a market share of 32%.

Commercial Director of PT Semen Gresik, Mukhamad Saifuddin said, "The increase in sales of Semen Gresik in the Bali area has been triggered by the development of tourist areas including the construction of villas, hotels and property in the area of southern Bali.”

"Although cement consumption in Bali in October 2015 fell 1.5% compared to last year, sales of Semen Gresik in Bali have increased, proving that the public trust the products.”
