PT Semen Indonesia Tbk is committed to the welfare of the community around the company.
Through the program of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in order to celebrate Eid al-Adha, PT Semen Indonesia Tbk provide sacrificial animals to the community around the Rembang factory. The provision of assistance is done symbolically by the Director of Engineering and Projects, Aunur Rosyidi and Director of Production and R & D, Johan Ocean to the Head of Public Welfare Rembang District Secretary, Office of Manpower Abdullah in Rembang.
Aunur said the company continues to contribute to society. Every year the Indonesian Cement routinely provide assistance and perform slaughter of sacrificial animals.
In addition to the provision of sacrificial animals, Semen Indonesia also donated 250 water tanks, home repair assistance worth US$35 million to Gunem District residents, as well as 30 housing units valued at US$1 billion to the Rembang public.
Aunur added, "We are a multinational company that will always provide benefits to local communities. Such companies are born and grow with the community, in the future we will continue to increase the amount of funding coverage of the programs of the company," said Aunur.
