Bharathi Cement wins ‘Asia’s Most Promising Brand’ award

Bharathi Cement Corporation Pvt. Ltd (BCCPL), a subsidiary of the Vicat Group, has received an award for ‘Asia’s Most Promising Brand’ from the World Consulting and Research Corporation (WCRC). The award was based on a survey that was validated by consumers and industry and organised by KPMG. Almost 150 brands in Asia were selected out of 1500.


Ravinder Reddy, Director of Marketing at Bharathi Cement, seen receiving the award from Noemie Levieux, Brand Ambassador for Remy Martin, and Abhijit Ghosh, Chairman of WCRC.

Bharathi Cement has a production capacity of 7.75 million tpy, a network of more than 3000 dealers and a leading presence in south and central India. It operates cement plants in Kadapa and Gulbarga.

Ravinder Reddy, Director of Marketing at BCCPL, accepted the award on behalf of the company from Noemie Levieux, Brand Ambassador for Remy Martin, and Abhijit Ghosh, Chairman of WCRC, at a function held in New Delhi recently. Commenting on the award, Reddy expressed BCCPL’s delight at the recognition. He said that the company had invested in high quality, robotically-controlled machinery, a robotic lab to analyse raw material and a robust back-end transport system to allow for the delivery of cement within 24 hours of it being booked.
