Citeureup cement plant will install seven Loesche VRMs
Loesche has won a contract to provide seven vertical roller mills to Indocement’s Citeureup cement plant in Indonesia. The mills will be installed on the plant’s new cement production line.
Two LM 56.4 mills will be used for grinding cement raw material. They will each have a capacity of 400 tph at a product fineness of 10% R 90 µm. A further two VRMs will grind coal. These will be of the type LM 28.3 D with a capacity of 40 tph at a fineness of 12% R µm. Three LM 56.3+3 mills will grind clinker to produce 240 tph of PPC cement at a fineness of 19% R 32 µm.
Loesche will also supply the plant with cyclones, dedusting filters, fans and hot gas generators for the cement mills.
Delivery has been scheduled for August 2014.
Citeureup, located around 45 km from Jakarta, currently operates nine kiln lines that utilise dry process and pre-calciner technology. It has a total cement production capacity of 11.9 million tpa.
