ZZ Zhang to leave Sandvik’s management team

World Cement,

As part of Sandvik’s new organisational structure, ZZ Zhang, the current Executive Vice President and Head of Emerging Markets, will leave his assignment as member of the Group Executive Management team. The change reflects Sandvik’s intention to have all markets represented through the Business Areas and Product Areas, and not through country.

ZZ Zhang has been a member of the management team since 2014. He will continue his role as Country Manager for Sandvik China Holding Co. Ltd. and Group Management Representative for the Asia Pacific countries, reporting to Bjorn Rosengren, President and CEO for Sandvik.

The change will be effective from 1 July 2016.

"I would like to thank ZZ Zhang for his dedicated work in the Group Executive Management and at the same time underline that our focus on China and the region will remain strong. To maintain and develop our customer relations and offerings for the Chinese market through our Business Areas and Product Areas will be a key priority", says Björn Rosengren, President and CEO for Sandvik.
