World Cement,
Estanda has finished supplying and installing an outlet diaphragm for a cement mill that belongs to the Semen Indonesia cement group.
The outlet diaphragm was installed for the A line (CM-A), with a mill dia. of 3.8 m. This follows the previous delivery to the plant of an outlet diaphragm for the cement grinding line B (CM-B) and a third new outlet diaphragm for the C line cement mill is also in the process of being manufactured.
The overall aim of the project is to improve the material flow in the outlet ball grinder, avoiding the severe plate wear and breakage detected in previous diaphragm designs. For this reason, wear-resistant and abrasion steels were the materials used for the plates, with 13% chrome content.
