CEO of Lafarge Malaysia to take on new role in LafargeHolcim Group

Mario Gross, President and CEO of Lafarge Malaysia Berhad, has been assigned to a new role within the LafargeHolcim Group. He will relinquish his current position, continuing as a non-executive director until 31 December 2018 in order to facilitate the transition.
During his tenure as President and CEO, Gross laid the groundwork for the business turnaround plan, putting in place an experienced leadership team. He also strengthened the fundamentals of the company to be more efficient.
Long-time CFO of Lafarge Malaysia, Yeoh Khoon Cheng has taken on the role of interim CEO, effective from 16 November 2018. The company has stated that he has been very successful in various roles within the LafargeHolcim Group.
