Qassim Cement announces the signing of a contract with Sinoma International Engineering for the project of establishing a fourth production line at its plant site in Buraydah.
Qassim Cement Company (QCC) announce the signing of a contract with Sinoma International Engineering for the establishment of its fourth production line at the company’s existing plant site in Buraydah City. The new line will have a production capacity of 10 000 tpd.
The total contract value amounts to USD 298 million. On this occasion, Eng. Omar Al-Omar, CEO & Board Member of QCC, emphasised that the project is designed to replace certain outdated, low-efficiency production lines by incorporating the latest technological advancements in the field. This initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s objectives to enhance energy efficiency and promote environmental sustainability.
He further stated that the project aims to optimise the utilisation of the existing plant infrastructure and marks a pivotal contribution to the company’s sustainable growth strategy focused on maximising shareholder value, meeting domestic demand, and diversifying product offerings in accordance with Saudi’s Vision 2030.
Eng. AlOmar concluded by extending his sincere gratitude for the unwavering support received from the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Environment, Water & Agriculture and all governmental entities that facilitate and empower the industrial sector across the Kingdom.
