Claudius Peters receives order for cement silos

PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia has ordered two Claudius Peters EC22 cement silos for a volume of approx. 17,200 m³ via contractor PT Hutama Karaya (Persero).
The scope of supply includes all process equipment of the silo technology as a complete delivery – starting from conveyors up to filters.
The Principle of the Expansion Chamber (EC) is a Claudius Peters invention and has proven its unsurpassed performance and reliability in more than thousand blending and storage silo facilities worldwide to our satisfied customers. The outstanding performance comprises “FIRST IN -FIRST OUT“ -material flow, reclaim rate ≥99.5% and a specific energy consumption of approx. 0.04 kWh/t as well as low investment costs.
The Indonesian subsidiary PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia (SBI) as part of the Semen Indonesia Group (SIG) is expanding the export capacity of the existing cement plant in Tuban by building a new terminal.
The group has a cement production capacity of 65 Mt/yr.
