TMEIC buys Australian process control company

Tokyo-based Toshiba Mitsubishi – Electric Industrial Systems Corp. (TMEIC) has bought the process control system solution business of Australian engineering and consulting company, Real Time Consultants (RTC). The acquired business will now operate as TMEIC Process Technology Application Centre Pty Ltd.
"It is my pleasure to announce that RTC’s expertise is now available to TMEIC and its group companies,” said Kazuhiko Uekusa, Vice President, Industrial Automation and Drive Systems Division, TMEIC, in a statement. “RTC has an international reputation for on-time, on-budget delivery of sophisticated real-time process control projects. This acquisition offers strong support for our business worldwide."
The new company will remain locally managed and staffed in Melbourne by the RTC team.
