PT Semen Padang place VRM order with Loesche

World Cement,


Indonesian cement manufacturer, PT Semen Padang has ordered a Loesche Vertical Roller Mill for its cement grinding plant at Dumai Clinker.

Dumai Clinker is located on the east side of Sumatra, and the mill chosen for the project is an LM 46.2+2 vertical roller mill. Semen Padang’s specifications were for a mill that is able to grind various materials, such as clinker, gypsum, pozzolana, limestone and flyash in volumes of up to 150 tph, with a Blaine fineness of 4000 mm for PPC and 125 tph, with a Blaine fineness of 3600 mm for OPC. The chosen mill is able to accomplish this and the mill motor are designed for a capacity of 3.150 kW.

The order also includes the complete import portion of the grinding plant, filter, fan, electrical equipment and automation. The delivery has been scheduled for November 2013.
