SCG orders a Loesche VRM for its Ta Luang cement plant
Thailand’s SCG Cement has ordered an LM 56.3+3 C vertical roller mill from Loesche. The VRM will be installed at the cement producer’s Ta Luang plant, and will be designed to produce 200 tph of Portland cement type I at 3600 Blaine and 150 tph of Portland cement type III at 4500 Blaine.
Loesche’s scope of supply also comprises premium parts such as the mill motor, mill fan and an LSVS-classifier. Commissioning is scheduled for December 2015.
SCG Cement has been utilising Loesche technology since the 1980s. This includes cement raw mills and coal mills at the Kaeng Khoi, Lampang and Thung Song plants, in addition to an LM 46.2+2 C cement mill at Thung Song 6.
