Siam City Cement (Lanka) appoints new director

Siam City Cement (Lanka) has appointed Rizmy Rishard to its board as an independent director. The appointment took effect from July.
A chartered management consultant and chartered marketer, Rishard comes to Siam City Cement (Lanka) having held positions at Holcim Lanka and at Ambuja Cement, where he was CEO. He is currently a corporate consultant and business transformation specialist, providing business support to medium to large-scale companies.
“We are pleased to have with a person with valuable experience and expertise that can undoubtedly add exceptional value to our business operation and contribute meaningfully to our objective of building brighter futures for all our stakeholders,” said Siam City Cement (Lanka) CEO, Nandana Ekanayake.
Siam City Cement (Lanka) is the only fully-integrated cement producer in Sri Lanka, manufacturing INSEE-branded cement. It is part of Siam City Cement Public Co. Ltd, a leading southeast Asian cement producer based in Thailand.
