Saurashtra Cement appoints new Chief Financial Officer

World Cement,
Saurashtra Cement Ltd, as recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and approved by the Board of Directors of the Company, has appointed Rakesh H. Mehta as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer, effective from 1 October 2014 (pursuant to Clause 41 and 49 of the Listing Agreement).
Saurashtra Cement is an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 18000:2007 certified company that manufacturers Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC), Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC grades 53 and 43) and SRPC cement and clinker. The company is a recognised export house and has won the Indian cement industry's national award for energy efficiency.
