Boral integrates its Australian cement and construction materials divisions

World Cement,

Boral is to combine its Australian Construction Materials and Cement Divisions to form Boral Construction Materials & Cement. The integration of these two divisions forms part of the company’s restructuring plans.

As a result of the changes, Murray Read’s role as Divisional Managing Director of Boral Construction Materials will be made redundant. Read will be leaving the company on 1 July 2012 following a transition period.

Boral has announced the appointment of Joseph Goss, who will serve as Divisional Managing Director of Boral Construction Materials & Cement as of 1 April 2013. Goss joins Boral from Lafarge North America, where he held a number of positions, including President US Southeast Cement Business and President US East Cement Business.
