Bharathi Cement Starts up Second Line
Bharathi Cement, a subsidiary of the Vicat Group, has announced that it has begun production of its second 2.5 million tpa production line in Kadapa district, India. The first line was inaugurated in September 2010.

The company’s Rs 1625 crore investment in the plant at Nallalingayapalli village in Kadapa district includes the cost of the land. Its three products, OPC 43 and 53 grade and pozzolana cement, are now available across South India and Maharashtra.
