World Cement,
Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (SCCC) is one of the largest cement producers in Thailand. The company was established in 1969 and began cement production after the completion of its cement plant in 1972. After five years of continuously successful operation, the company proudly became a listed company in the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 1977.
The company has a strong commitment to the principles of sustainable development and good governances as well as good corporate social responsibility. It has embarked on several social projects that would ultimately lead to better quality of life for all. One of which being a project called the "Green School initiative" which has been providing decent places to receive formal education to more than 6000 less-fortunate students along the border since its inception in 2010.
By joining the CSI, SCCC has demonstrated its determination to be recognised as a company that cares deeply for its employees, community, environment and society at large and reinforced its commitment to pursue sustainable development.
