World Cement,

ThyssenKrupp Australia is merging Uhde Shedden, Polysius and ThyssenKrupp Materials Handling to become ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (Australia). The integration will help to strengthen the company’s service offerings and plant technology business by combining engineering, design and construction services and knowhow for the industrial, chemical and petrochemical sectors. The merger process will bring together ThyssenKrupp’s EPC, delivery and service via hubs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.

“Combining the strengths of our three successful long-standing plant technology companies and acting as one company on the global stage in the future will increase our impact particularly in the growth regions and enable us to carry out projects worldwide on a whole new scale,” said Dr Hans Christoph Atzpodien, CEO of ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions.

“The integration and regionalisation of our plant technology business is an important element of our transition into a diversified industrial group. This area offers great potential, which we can service optimally with ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions as a global, integrated engineering and construction company,” added Marc van den Boom, CEO of ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (Asia-Pacific).
