Lafarge India appoints new Non-Executive Chairman

Lafarge India Private Limited (Lafarge India) has announced that Jean-Carlos Angulo, Executive Vice President, Lafarge Group, replaces Uday Khanna as Non-Executive Chairman of Lafarge India. The announcement took place at Lafarge India's quarterly Board Meeting, during which Uday Khanna was thanked for his contribution to the development of Lafarge India. He will stay on with the company in an advisory role.
Jean-Carlos Angulo has spent most of his career in Lafarge, joining in 1975 and holding various regional and international positions. He is presently Executive Vice President of Lafarge Group with a role as Advisor to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lafarge Group.
Uday Khanna has served as Lafarge India's Non-Executive Chairman since July 2011. Prior to this, he led the company as Managing Director and CEO from July 2005. Khanna joined the Lafarge Group in Paris in 2003 as Senior Vice President of Group Strategy following a 30-year international career with Hindustan Lever/Unilever.
