Elkon supplies equipment to Tunisian company

World Cement,

A company of an important Tunisian group has purchased two ELKOMIX-90 Quick Master compact concrete plants in order to extend its machinery fleet.

Each concrete plant is equipped with three hoppers, with a 20 m3 capacity, in linear allocation. The aggregates are fed into the mixer using the transfer conveyor protected by galvanised rain covers.

The majority of concrete plant components, including the aggregate hopper panels, are galvanised.

The heart of the plant is a twinshaft mixer, which produced 1.5 m3 of concrete per batch. The dual-function water distribution system, which is used to distribute the water uniformly within the mixer while increasing the homogeneity of the mixer, could also be used for cleaning.

There is also a 75 t cement silo, and a 150 t additional silo connect to each plant for storage.
