Gulgun Dokuz appointed as HCT’s Chief Operations Officer

Gulgun Dokuz, currently General Director of Trading, Asia Pacific region, has been appointed as Chief Operations Officer of HeidelbergCement Trading (HCT).

In her new role, effective as of 1 October 2019, Dokuz will be responsible for the operational leadership of all trading and shipping activities, as well as trade operations on a global basis, and will be located in Istanbul, Turkey.

Dokuz has 30 years of experience in the cement industry. Joining Canakkale Cement Co. in 1989 as Export Manager, afterwards she held various leadership positions, including Senior Advisor to the CEO and Head of Trade Operations, before taking over her current role as General Director of Trading, Asia Pacific region.
