Ohorongo wins NMA Manufacturer of the Year

On 21 October, Ohorongo Cement was awarded NMA Manufacturer of the Year, at the NMA Manufacturer of the Year Awards. The awards, which are held annually, took place at the Safari Hotel and Conference Centre.
Ohorongo Cement won the following awards:
- Overall Winner: NMA Manufacturer of the Year.
- Gold Award: NMA Best Ambassador for Manufacturing in Namibia.
- Gold Award: NMA Most Environmentally Friendly Manufacturer of the Year.
- Silver Award: NMA Corporate Manufacturer of the Year.
This is the second time that Ohorongo has been awarded NMA Manufacturer of the Year, having first won the award in 2013, where they went home with five awards in total. In 2014 too, the company also won multiple awards across various categories.
The awards reflect Ohorongo Cement’s role as an ambassador of manufacturing in Namibia.
