World Cement,
Estanda has successfully completed the commissioning of a cement ball mill for a cement manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia.
The project was carried out on cement mill line 2, (CM2, 5.0m dia., 2 chambers), which operates in parallel with cement mill line 1, which was previously renovated and updated by Estanda in 2013.
The renovation of the cement mill affected all interior steel components of the mill that are involved in the grinding process, including the inlet headwall liners, lifting liners of the first ball mill chamber, the intermediate diaphragm, the second chamber classifying liners and the outlet diaphragm. The materials and designs were chosen in accordance with Estanda technical specifications, and allowed for a 15% improvement in productivity, reduced wearing on the steel components, thereby leading to less maintenance, and also greater profitability.
